WHAT A YEAR WE HAD IN MARCH of 2018

In the month of March, The Froth and Bubble Foundation for Food Assistance distributed over ONE YEAR’s worth of weekly grocery gift cards —  Over 52 weeks of grocery gift cards to cancer patients in treatment and in financial distress.

When Froth and Bubble first was getting under way, I took one gift card to the Arizona Prostate Cancer Center once a week, so they could give it out the man they had identified.  A few weeks later, I was taking two gift cards when another patient in need appeared on their doorstep.

When I finished treatments and was feeling better, we added Hospice of the Valley, MD Anderson, and Palo Verde Cancer Specialists to our delivery route. At the end of 2017, counting special cards for Thanksgiving and Christmas we distributed 41 weeks of grocery assistance to 22 patients with 8 types of cancer.

In January of this year we distributed 25 grocery gift cards.

In February of this year we distributed 43 grocery gift cards.

And, in March of this year we delivered 63 weeks of grocery gift cards. One Year plus 11 weeks more to be exact.

To date this year, we have delivered 131 weeks of grocery gift cards to 37 cancer patients in the fight of their lives against 22 different types of insidious cancer.

The only thing we do is buy grocery gift cards and distribute them to vetted cancer patients in need as they fight their disease.
