APRIL 2018 HAD 5 MONDAYS AND THAT MEANS… MORE GROCERY CARDS

Since I have a background in media sales, I use a Monday start, as in broadcast sales, to designate the beginning of a week of the month.  There were five weeks in April which means we blew past last months total number of grocery cards delivered. In March we set a record by delivering 65 grocery cards…more than a year’s worth of groceries.  In April’s five weeks, we delivered 84 grocery cards to the brave warriors of the insidious disease called cancer.  We also received our first patient (breast cancer) from Banner Boswell Hospital.

We handed in a grant and we were informed we had received that grant. I was notified of that on the last day of the month, so I want to wait to tell you about it until I clarify with them their wishes.  But, they are very kind to be so generous.

I went on a few more meetings and met some new people.  We began a search for an event in October to commemorate one year since my radiation treatments, and, more importantly, one year since we gave out our very first Froth and Bubble Foundation for Food Assistance grocery card to our very first recipient.  I think we found it.  As they say, Stay tuned.  Thank you for your support.  jl
